She also says that my Brother, Woody will be moving up to Elementary this year with me, so I had better get my tail in gear….. coz we can’t have him beating me on each outing! That just wouldn’t do!

She also says that we will have lessons in March. Yay…. wonder if this trainer will be amused by my individual approach to our sport…… :)

It’s going to be a busy year, so am glad that the Digestive Mix keeps my tummy feeling good (add to that the bananas that I get with my dinner), and the Ultimate mix takes care of the rest of me.
My brother is on the Ultimate mix with me and the Sport horse mix has made him into a big horse…. so big that he has to borrow my saddle again as his is to small!
My other brother, TobyDog, has just started on the Doggy Joint Formula…. the way he jumps around me while I am working I am sure he is going to need it!

Overall we are all fit and well and raring to go!!

Admitedly, the first was from eating too much green grass at a friends! But scary none the less.

Normally when we do the annual African Horse Sickness Injections, the second injection gives me a tummy ache during the second week.
We have just finished our six week span and I haven’t had a bad day!

So BIG thank you to Aunty Beryl for providing a solution to my annual tummy ache!

P.S. Since being on the digestion mix, I have also found life a lot calmer.

I am a horse.. I walk like a horse, trot like a horse and canter like a horse. So surely hope this woman is not going to make me do circus tricks!

Anyway, Mom is quite excited at the concept. So I will do my best to behave and not show off all the other things I know I can do!

I did manage to convince Woody to nip out his stable last week and take a run around the property, so perhaps I can convince him to be the clown… that way I dont get into trouble for a change (batting eyelashes innocently).

Thankfully we had nice weather all weekend, even though friends had told us how cold it would be.  It would appear we left the cold weather in Polokwane and enjoyed the nice winter warmth.

Woody is still in Novice and managed to get two third places, with scores in the 60’s.

I did the Elementary, and Mom says that for a change I remember to listen to ALL the instructions.  So our tests were correct, we just need to neaten up a few things.  I got 55% and 56%…. not sure where we placed……but the family seems happy enough.

We now have a month of hard work to get ready for GHS Champs…..

I am a 12year old Boerped Cross mare, and have been with my mom and dad since I was an unbroken two and a half year old.  I was originally purchased as my Dad’s project… for him to break in, train and ride.  He even went as far as teaching me to long rein with the idea of getting me a little carriage to pull.  Not sure if I would have liked that or not!
When my Mom’s horse died, she inherited me. originally as a temporary ride, but we became a fixed item quite quickly.
We have struggled to find a method that agrees with both of us, and over the years have been led astray by trainers with different ideas.  But we appear to have found our way now.
It has taken awhile but we have finally moved from Novice to Elementary, and I am hoping that soon Mom will let me do at shows, all the fun things we are learning at home… flying changes being my new favourite!
TAGI have been a Herbal horse for many years…. as a youngster I was started on Calm Mix, and when we had a bad outbreak of Sweet Itch one year, I went onto the Immune Mix and haven’t stopped since.
I am also on the Rejuven Mix to keep me soft and supple.  Mom says I turn into a surfboard without it.
And lately I have started the Digestive Mix as well.. after a few bouts of mild colic.  Since being on that I haven’t had a tummy ache again.  I am partial to liquorice, so have no complaints there.
We enjoy our work time together, figuring things out on our own.  Mom calls it our voyage of discovery…it’s just nice to learn new things and put it all together.  I like to make her happy!  Sometimes she gets excited about me doing things and I can’t see why…. it’s no big deal!
