The Herbal Horse is fantastically, overwhelmingly, ecstatically proud to be a sponsor of Carl de Campos and his horse, Billy. Carl is a completely blind endurance rider. He has just completed his first Fauresmith 200km ride. And his horse, Billy is using Farriers mix to help his problem hooves grow out strong and hard.

    Hi all, thanks very much for the encouraging comments. Ja Billy and I have a very close bond and trust. Many people think Billy wouldn’t have completed an 80km, nevermind Fauresmith or a 120, but due to his spirit he showed us all, as he’s not a purebred Arabian and hasn’t got the ideal confirmation, but who cares, he’s healthy and I have no confirmation or pure breeding in my eye sight either, so together we can conquer the world if we want to. We appreciate the support of you all, especially Herbal horse, (And also Spurwing) and the great endurance crowd.

    Sometimes people are so wrapped up in breeding and confirmation and all of that, that they forget that at the end of the day the heart of the horse will get you over the finish line, not his pedigree! You truly are an inspiration Carl, as is Billy! Wishing you a lifetime of success, love and peace together!
