Gem’s dressage show

The first Sanef schools show was very enjoyable for both myself and Gem. We both enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and it was great to meet other schools riders..and Gem enjoyed socialising with the other horses and ponies too!    This was the first time we’d competed at the stadium arena in Durban, and, we were first into the arena in our level.   Gem took everything in her stride and we came out with a joint 6th placing in one of the fullest groups in the equitation programme.

We had some time-out before the dressage test, so, Gem decided to go over the test with me..Wouldn’t it be cool if our horses could really read the test paper with us!

We’re both looking forward to doing even better at the next Sanef schools show!
