In January 2006 this year I was offered a new ride, 1/2 Straight Eqyptian x Crabbet Arabian x Thoroughbred 8 year old gelding Xara Zeuz, bred by Xara Arabians. He really tested me in the beginning and would rear, buck, spin, and work himself up at every opportunity. I persisted and worked him 6 days a week for the past few months. He has improved in anyway and I discovered he has the most desirable personality. He will do absolutely anything for me if I explain how and rarely puts a foot wrong. He completely respects me and we have a lot of fun together. I taught him to jump shortly after beginning his training and he now clears 3 foot with no problems whatsoever. His first training show we did a groundpole class and he knocked the last jump in the jump off of 50cm but I was really chuffed with his behaviour. At our second training show he had 4 clears out of four rounds (groundpole and 50cm classes). I plan to do 50cm and 60cm on him at the next training show. He is improving all the time and he just loves his work.
